My Story

For nearly 10 years, I lived in a fog of digestive issues, nausea, bloating, fatigue, anxiety, and depression. It all started in high school with relentless hiccups—every single day. I knew I was sick but doctors insisted nothing was wrong. I lived in constant pain and fear, especially at night when nausea would keep me awake.

Then, a chance encounter with an acupuncturist changed everything. He suggested I stop eating bread after feeling my rigid stomach. After years of trial and error, I took this suggestion upon myself to try a gluten free diet; within days my hiccups and night-time nausea vanished! It felt like a miracle, but the struggle wasn’t over. The crushing fatigue, the anxiety that stole my joy, and the depression that weighed me down were still there. I was desperate for answers.

Determined to find the root cause, I plunged into the world of nutrition and holistic wellness. I discovered something life-changing: the key to my healing was in my gut. I learned to nourish my body with foods that truly supported me and to avoid those that fueled inflammation. I embraced lifestyle changes that allowed me to manage stress and rebuild my health from the inside out.

The transformation was profound. My energy returned, the fog lifted, and I started to recognize the vibrant, joyful person I once was. I recognized that pain and discomfort did not have to be in the cards for me. I deserved a comfortable and pain free life. I felt alive again—truly alive.

What prompted me to work with Tara was the fact that I was looking to lose some weight and I was in constant pain and discomfort.
